Tonight, didn’t want to sleep.
When the light went out, the room changed.
The closet seemed huge, shadows stretched long, even the teddy looked strange.
– “I don’t like the dark,” whispered , curling up in the cozy sleeping bag.
Then—plip plop!—a soft sound came from the window.
It was Friggo the frog, smiling warmly.
– Why aren’t you asleep?
– Because… it’s dark. And I don’t know what’s hiding there.
Friggo reached out gently.
– Come. I’ll show you something.
As soon as touched his toes, the room faded away.
They stepped into a soft, quiet darkness—like a big blanket.
– What do you hear?
– Birds… singing to each other. I never noticed before.
– And what do you smell?
– The flowers on the balcony… so sweet.
– And what do you feel?
– The night breeze on my face… and your toes holding on.
Friggo’s eyes sparkled.
– See? When we can’t see, other senses wake up.
The dark isn’t here to scare us. It helps us rest—and feel what really matters.
smiled wide and snuggled close.
Eyes closed. Darkness wrapped around like a warm hug.
From that night on, when the lights went out…
wasn’t afraid anymore.
