Each BabyBliss sleeping bag is defined by two important factors: TOG rating and size.
The TOG rating indicates how warm a sleeping bag is and helps you choose the appropriate sleeping bag according to your baby's room temperature. The size is selected based on your child's age, height, and weight.
When your child reaches the maximum recommended height or weight for a particular size, we recommend moving to the next size to ensure continued comfort, freedom of movement, and safe sleep.
The first step is to check the temperature of your baby's sleeping environment.
Please refer to the TOG guide below to match room temperature with the appropriate sleeping bag.

If your baby's room is maintained at 20°C (68°F) throughout the night, a 2.5 TOG BabyBliss sleeping bag is generally the most suitable choice.
However, many families adjust their home's temperature between day and night. For example, if your baby's room is around 21-23°C during the day but drops to 16-20°C at night, you may find it helpful to use:
Alternatively, depending on the room temperature and your baby's individual needs, you may choose to dress your baby in an additional clothing layer underneath the sleeping bag during cooler nights.
Every baby is unique, so room temperature should always be your starting point when deciding how to dress your little one.
To make safe sleep even easier, every BabyBliss sleeping bag and swaddle comes with a FREE room thermometer.
On the back of the thermometer, you will find a practical dressing guide showing exactly what your baby should wear underneath the sleeping bag at different room temperatures, helping you feel confident every bedtime.
For BlissSac and BlissJump, please use the sizing guide below and select the size based on your child's age, height, and weight.
We recommend prioritising height and weight over age whenever possible, as every child grows at a different pace.
When your child approaches the maximum recommended height or weight for a size, it is time to move to the next size for the best fit and comfort.
A baby who is 8 months old would typically wear a 6–18 months BabyBliss sleeping bag.
However, if the baby is already close to the maximum recommended height or weight for that size, it may be more comfortable to move up to the next size rather than waiting until they outgrow it completely.
For example, if your child is 17 months old but already measures 86 cm in height, we recommend choosing the 18–36 months size, as they have reached the maximum height recommended for the 6–18 months sleeping bag.
Likewise, if your baby is younger than the age range shown but already meets the height or weight requirements of the next size, it is usually best to choose the larger size.
When in doubt, always use your child's height and weight as your primary guide, with age serving as a general reference only.
All BabyBliss sleeping bags have been independently tested to verify the TOG rating displayed on their packaging, giving you confidence that the warmth level you choose is the warmth level your baby receives.
With BabyBliss, you can feel confident that you've chosen a sleeping bag designed to support safer, more comfortable, and more restful sleep for your little one.
